Free Annual Credit Report

Under the National Credit Act, every South African consumer is entitled to one free credit report per year from each registered credit bureau. Credit Registry SA facilitates this process for you.

Important: The free annual credit report is issued by a registered credit bureau — not by Credit Registry SA. Credit Registry SA is an independent platform facilitating the request process. The report you receive is an official bureau document.

Process

Choose which registered credit bureau you want to request your report from. You are entitled to one free report from each.

Submit your details

Provide your verified identity details. These are required by the bureau to match your credit profile.

Receive your report

Your report is delivered electronically to your registered email address, typically within 24–48 hours.
